Bikepacking 101

Bikepacking Adventure

This overnight adventure is designed to introduce kids to the fun and fundamentals of bikepacking. Participants will carry a portion of their own gear—such as camping items, clothing, food, and drinks—on their bikes as they ride to a campsite, spend a night outdoors, and then pack up for the return trip the next morning.

Day 1: Blowing Springs to Campsite

The group will depart from Blowing Springs and begin with approximately 6 miles of singletrack riding. From there, they’ll drop onto a short stretch of road before transitioning to a mix of B-roads and gravel for the remaining 7 miles leading to camp.

Day 2: Return to Blowing Springs

After waking up, eating breakfast, and packing their gear, riders will begin the journey back. The return route will feature more gravel and road sections, followed by a mix of singletrack and bike path to finish out the ride.
